In light of increased CIPA compliance checks by both USAC and auditors, it is becoming clear that many applicants are having trouble documenting that filtering occurred during previous years and that Internet Safety Policies were adopted as the result of public notices and hearings. * E-Rate Updates and Reminders. Three of the eight SLD workshops scheduled for this fall are already fully subscribed. Applicants who did not get expiring technology plans updated and re-approved by July 1 should do so ASAP and should not file Form 486s until their plans are approved. * Schools and Libraries News Brief dated July 10th ? Recurring Service Invoicing. The SLD reviewed six topics related to BEAR and SPI invoicing for recurring services received during FY 2008.
