 *   FY 2008 and FY 2009 Funding Status.   FY 2009 Wave 30 will be released on Tuesday and FY 2008 Wave 74 will be released on Wednesday.  The Priority 2 funding thresholds for both years have been reduced.  The final threshold for FY 2008 has been set at 87%.  The interim threshold for FY 2009 was lowered from 85% to 80%.
 *   Invoicing and Funds Disbursements — Part 1.  This is the first in a series of articles with invoice and disbursement reviews, including the identification and correction of payment problems.  Part 1 reviews BEAR and SPI invoicing and discusses the tools available for tracking invoice submission and approval.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  FY 2009 Waves 14-18 have Form 486 deadlines in December.  Although the SLD issued a special News Brief to announce the funding threshold changes, no regular News Brief was released for the Thanksgiving week.
