 *   FY 2008 and FY 2009 Funding Status.  Wave 21 for FY 2009 was issued last week.  Wave 22 (and Wave 68 for FY 2008) will be issued this week.  There is no change in Priority 2 funding for either year.
 *   SLD Fall E-Rate Training – Part 2.  This week’s article reviews recent SLD training guidance on school and library closings, and discusses recent proactive activities by the SLD to identify such closings.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  October 28th and 29th are key deadlines for FY 2008 invoicing and FY 2009 Form 486s.  The next of the SLD’s eight fall workshops will be held this week.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated October 2nd.  Last week’s News Brief reviews the eligibility criteria for both applicant and service provider E-rate participation.
