 *   Funding Status.  The application window for FY 2011 will open January 11th and close March 24th.  Wave 31 for FY 2010 and Wave 76 for FY 2001 will be released this week.
 *   FCC Clarification on New E-Rate Rules.  The FCC released two orders providing clarification on maintenance, gifts and donations, effective dates of various rules. Community use, dark fiber, SPIN changes, and technology plans
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  EDU2011 applications were due last Friday.  The FCC released orders granting 83 appeals.  The FCC OIG issued its latest semi-annual report that reported on a large-scale E-rate investigation involving multiple school districts in Texas.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated December 17.  This week's News Brief provides several reminders for December
