 *   Funding Status.  The first funding wave for FY 2011 should be released later this month.  Wave 50 for FY 2010 is scheduled for this week.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  Service certifications and Item 21 attachments for incomplete applications for FY 2011 are due by May 17th.  The FCC is seeking on comments on a proposal to broaden the base of USF contributions by including text messaging revenue.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated May 13.  Last week's News Brief provides additional information on the SLD's fall training workshops.
