 *   Funding Status.  Wave 24 for FY 2011 and Wave 77 for FY 2010 are expected to be released this week. Priority 2 funding is being provided at 90% for FY 2011.  The application window for FY 2012 is scheduled to open January 9 and close March 22, 2012.
 *   SLD Training: The Road to Success - Competitive Bidding.  This section of the SLD's fall training focused on the avoidance of conflicts of interest and on the proper use of a Form 470.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  E-mpa files a white paper with the FCC regarding the growing demand for Priority 1 services.  The FCC released a useful cybersecurity planner designed for small businesses, but useful for smaller schools and libraries.
 *   Schools and Libraries Special News Brief dated November 22.  The SLD announced the Form 471 application window for FY 2012.  No regular News Brief was issued last week.
