This is the third round of grants that ODE has sponsored through Grant in Aid monies made available by the Legislature. For this round there is $471,000 available for grants. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis and given to schools and districts that do not yet meet minimum standards of greater than 10 Mbps of bandwidth on their path to the Internet. This can include connections between buildings or directly to the Internet as long as the path creates, at a minimum, 10 Mbps of connectivity. The funds may be used for non-reoccurring cost associated with building or creating connections to greater bandwidth.
