  *   FCC Requests Comments on Bundled End-User Equipment.  The FCC is seriously considering the petition filed SECA seeking clarification of the "free" equipment exemption for cellular and related services.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC released two appeal decisions dealing with competitive bidding violations and deferred payment plans.  The SLD still has room in Minneapolis for its fall training.
  *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated August 17.  The SLD's latest News Brief discusses non-recurring service deadlines and contracts.
