  *   Funding Status.  Funding waves for FY 2012 and FY 2013 are scheduled this week.
  *   Definition of "RFP."  The FCC published an appeal decision last week rejecting an applicant's contention that supplementary documents made available to service providers responding to its non-RFP Form 470 was not formally a request for proposal.
  *   Updates and Reminders.   The FCC has released a shutdown plan in the event of an Oct. 1 lapse of Congressional appropriations.  Reply E-Rate 2.0 NPRM comments are due October. 16th. The FCC will host a cybersecurity conference on October 1st.  The FCC is seeking nomination for six seats on the USAC Board.  The FCC plans to post all initial and final reports filed by participants in its FY 2011 Learning-on-the-Go pilot wireless access program.  The SLD's 2013 fall training workshops begin this Monday in DC.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated September 27.  The SLD's latest News Brief reviews the E-rate program eligibility criteria for schools, libraries, and service providers. It also notes that this Monday is the last day to file an extension request for the September 30th service delivery deadline
