  *   Funding Status.  Funding waves for FY 2013 are scheduled this week.


  *   E-Rate Modernization Reply Comments. Reply comments were due last week. An early estimate notes fewer than 100 reply-type submissions with primary focus on five key issues.


  *   Updates and Reminders. The FCC's  E-Rate Modernization workshop is scheduled for May 6, 2014. The FCC issued one appeal order stating the postmarked date as the defining one for appeal submission date-stamp.
