  *   Funding Status.  FY 2014 application window will close this week on Wednesday, March 26th.  Funding waves for FY 2012 and FY 2013 are scheduled this week.
  *   FY 2014 Applications: The Final Days.  Suggestions for applicants filing their applications just before the deadline.
  *   FCC Chairman Wheeler's View on Legacy Services.  Last week's speech by the FCC Chairman hints at the breadth of services that may become ineligible under E-Rate 2.0.
  *   Updates and Reminders.  The FCC comment deadlines for E-rate related proceedings are March 31st for the Report on FCC Process Reform and April 7th for the E-rate Modernization Public Notice. Form 486s for Waves 28-32 are due before the end of April.  The FCC released an appeal order denying one district's appeal but granting a related appeal of its supplier.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated March 21.  The SLD latest News Brief includes questions and answers for last minute filers.
