  *   Funding Status:  A funding wave for FY 2014 is scheduled this week.  An additional wave for FY 2013 is already scheduled for early next week.
  *   District and Charter School Discount Rate Calculations:  There has been some confusion on whether charter schools should be included in the applications of the school districts in which they are located and, conversely whether separate charter school applications should include district schools in their discount rate calculations.  The key issue involves the definition of "central administrative agency."  For the most part, E-Rate Central believes that districts and charter schools operate independently and should calculate their discount rates separately.

     *   FY 2015 Form 471 Application Window (closes 3/26/2015)
     *   CEP Percentages Less Than 40%
  *   S&L News Briefs Dated February 9 and 13 - FY 2015 Applications:  USAC's latest Special Edition News Brief focuses on the phase-out of discounts for telephone voice services.  Last week's regular News Brief discusses important aspects of the competitive bidding process.
