RE:      2008-09 NASDSE Satellite Series

Our first broadcast for the 2008-09 NASDSE Professional Development Series (formerly known as the NASDSE Satellite Conference Series) is scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2008, and is titled: News You Can Use: Resources and Supports for Students with Autism and their Families.

Information for the session, including specific satellite coordinates, is now available on the department's website at http://www.ode.state.or.us/search/results/?id=258.  Local ESDs and schools may host this event through the Oregon Access Network.  For a list of network sites, please go to: http://www.ode.state.or.us/initiatives/oraccessnet/networksites.aspx.

For schools unable to participate in the live session broadcasts, the department provides taped copies of the broadcasts for rebroadcast and/or dissemination by ESDs and schools.

Please contact the Special Education Director at your local ESD to confirm your attendance at these important training events.
