New Unexplained Pediatric Deaths: Investigation, Certification and Family Needs

The National Center wanted to share an opportunity for a discounted rate on the newly released book Unexplained Pediatric Deaths: Investigation, Certification and Family Needs. The book is a collaboration between the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME) funded by a grant from the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) Foundation. Unexplained Pediatric Deaths is a combined effort of an expert panel of over 30 multidisciplinary contributors including medical examiners, death investigators, pediatricians and federal agency representatives who represent the diverse interests of epidemiology, death investigation, autopsy performance, death certification, clinical subspecialties (neurology, cardiology, child abuse, injury prevention, infectious diseases, genetics and metabolic diseases), family needs, prevention and research.
