New Quick-Look on Stillbirths



Quick-Look on Stillbirths


We are pleased to release this Quick-Look on Stillbirths<https://ncfrp.org/center-resources/quick-looks/stillbirths/>.  The National Center publishes topic-specific, data-centered Quick-Looks, or infographics, to highlight findings from the National Fatality Review-Case Reporting System.  It would not be possible to for us to share this information without our dedicated teams reviewing deaths and entering cases into the NFR-CRS.

>From 2017 through 2020, Fetal and Infant Mortality Review (FIMR) teams reviewed 1,805 stillbirths that occurred at or after 20 weeks of pregnancy. This Quick-Look, the first one released using FIMR data, features childbearing parent characteristics, modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors for a stillbirth, and prevention resources.
