This upcoming webinar will highlight the role and importance that both evaluation and assessment have in program success, specifically related towards Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID) prevention. It will discuss various evaluation strategies and will look at how risk perception influences family decision-making in SUID-prevention. This webinar will be going through the reasoning behind why we should evaluate programs, how to narrow down on the problem through root cause analysis, breaking down barriers to change, then diving into different intervention types to find solutions. We will provide a walkthrough of specific examples of interventions used to intervene risk factors that can lead to SUID-related deaths and discuss various data trends related to SUID.

Documenting Prevention: Outcomes and Impacts of Fatality Review
Dear fatality review colleagues,
The National Center for Fatality Review and Prevention is pleased to announce registration for the webinar "Documenting Prevention: Outcomes and Impacts of Fatality Review," taking place on Friday, June 27th, from 2:00pm-3:00pm EDT.
This webinar will guide fatality review teams in identifying, defining, and documenting prevention outcomes. It will address the types of prevention and outcome data collected in the Pediatric NFR-CRS, define outcomes, and address challenges in correlating the efforts of CDR and FIMR teams to prevention outcomes achieved. The session will also showcase the National Center's new approach to capturing aggregate prevention outcomes. The key audience for this webinar includes CDR coordinators, FIMR coordinators, and fatality review team members.
