care for their children. Keynote speaker Kay Johnson will unpack how the lack of accumulated wealth and resources among families, especially families of color, has been impacted by COVID-19. The National Center hopes to equip case review teams with ways
to lead non-judgmental discussions of the impacts of poverty and ways these experiences may be observed in the records or in the fatality review process. See the attached flyer for details.
