Hello,
The Oregon Lidar Consortium (OLC) has been informed that the FEMA HQ may have funding available for an Oregon lidar collection in 2020. Below is excerpt from FEMA Region 10 Risk Analyst, Rynn Lamb.
Please note that FEMA funds would be used for QL2 (~ 4 pulse per square meter) lidar collection. The quality level can be enhanced to QL1, if matching funds are located.
I will need to provide FEMA Region 10 with a priority shapefile by the week of January 20th.
Below are the counties that were identified for potential FEMA HQ-funded collections through 3DEP. As mentioned, these areas may be requested as QL2 unless there is significant need or justification for QL1. Collection of any of these areas will likely be dependent on available funds and other priorities, so we may also need to be prepared to prioritize. To assist with that stacking, it would be helpful to know if you are aware of particular stakeholder need or interest in any of these counties. Please note this may have a short fuse, so if you could provide any info by early next week, that would be great. Thanks!
