[Fit-elevation] Vote for a new Elevation FIT Leader

Elevation FIT theme members,

You are receiving this email because you are signed up to receive information regarding the Elevation Framework Implementation Team via the Elevation FIT list serve.  I don't believe this team has met in a while and it is currently without a designated leader.  There is a FIT Lead nomination process that I am following to fill current FIT lead vacancies.  To that end, we have received a nomination for a new Elevation FIT leader: Robert Hairston-Porter.

Here's a little blurb about Robert:
I have been working as a remote sensing and geohazard analyst at DOGAMI since 2015, and I currently help lead/manage the Oregon Lidar Consortium at DOGAMI.  My educational background is in geology and remote sensing/GIS, and I currently getting more involved in UAS technology.  My reasoning for joining the E-FIT group is to continue the legacy of obtaining and providing high-resolution elevation data for the State of Oregon and to help make Oregon the premier state for geospatial data and programs.

If you are receiving this email, it is important that you take 30 seconds to vote Yes/No for Robert to be the new Elevation FIT leader. I need at least 2/3 of the listserve members to vote.  Please use this survey monkey link to cast your vote by this Friday, January 7th:

If 2/3 of the list serve vote to approve Robert, I will ask OGIC to endorse him as the new Elevation FIT lead at the next OGIC meeting.  If we don't get a successful vote, then I will return to this group for discussion and new nominations.
