Greetings,

 

On behalf of Ken Murphy, Preparedness FIT Lead and Director of Oregon
Emergency Management I invite your attendance and participation in our
upcoming Preparedness Framework Implementation Team (FIT) meeting. Many
of you are familiar with the FIT program and have participated in this
or other FITs. For those not familiar with the program a description is
available on the program website or you can contact me directly. 

 

On December 1st Oregon held a kick off meeting for it's participation in
the Virtual USA Pacific PNW Pilot Initiative (info at the website listed
below). One of the outcomes was the decision to utilize Preparedness FIT
to serve as the State Technical Working Group for the pilot. We'll be
discussing this among other topics at the FIT meeting.

 

We've constructed a doodle to help us find the best time for the
meeting. Please visit it by end of the day on Monday, December 14th and
let us know which of the available dates work best for you. We'll choose
the best date for the group, find a room and inform everyone of the
final date.

We recently tried combining Preparedness and Hazards FITs into a single
group but we've determined that the groups function better if they are
independent.
