OGIC Members:

The OGIC meeting scheduled for June 16 is cancelled. 

 

There was a good discussion in the March meeting on the Strategic Plan
development.  This caused us to change direction in the plan
development.  We expected to have the plan ready for your review in
advance of this meeting, but we have been delayed as a result of other
unavoidable activities.  We now expect the draft plan to be available
for your review by July 30.  Because of this delay, we think it makes
sense to cancel this meeting and meet at our next regularly scheduled
meeting in September.

 

During the past quarter the Geospatial program has been extensively
involved in ORSTATS, Virtual USA, Broadband mapping grant activities and
budget reduction projections. These unavoidable efforts have prevented
us from making as much progress as we would have liked on OGIC matters.

The meeting notes from the March 2010 meeting are now posted on the OGIC
website for your review and comment.

 

The next OGIC meeting is scheduled for September 15, 2010. Please mark
it on your calendars now.
