[FIT] Framework Funding - Prioritized Criteria

PAC, FIT, and GPL Members,
The Reviewing Team met yesterday and identified recommended high priority items from the criteria published in the Framework Data Development Program document. The rationale for this recommendation is to aid proposers and the review groups (PAC, FIT, and GPL) in identifying proposals that are more likely to result in excellent and broadly useful products. The Reviewing Team consists of the State GIO, FIT Coordinator, and one member each from the PAC, FIT, and GPL groups:

Randall Sounhein, GPL Representative

Additionally, the Reviewing Team received the following proposal prioritization suggestions from a FIT participant and we are in agreement with those suggestions:
Suggested Framework Ranking Criteria
*         Statewide theme
*         Multiple agency need
State
Federal
Regional
County
City
*         Multiple discipline or business needs
*         Support for other themes

The prioritized criteria will soon be published on the FIT site and communicated via our listservers. It will also be a topic at the RFP Review meeting next Thursday.
