Esri and Leica just announced a Smart Communities Innovation Challenge to "foster transformational approaches to improving the productivity and efficiency of mobile field workers" across all levels of government. With this joint grant challenge, we are calling for governments of all types and sizes to bring forward their most inventive ideas on how mobilizing government operations can help office staff make better informed, data-driven decisions.

The grant program will begin accepting applications on August 15.
