I wanted to let you know that the data sharing legislative concept that Sean McSpaden with LFO presented at the last OGIC meeting was officially introduced as a Committee bill by the Joint Legislative Committee on Information Management and Technology (JLCIMT) at their most recent hearing.  Please see the message below from Sean for more information.  The concept was based on the work on this issue done by OGIC in 2014.  Jim and I will be presenting testimony on this bill at the JLCIMT hearing on Feb. 5.

Just wanted you to both know the bill number for LC 121.

LC 121 -- HB 4056

Representative Nathanson will be the Chief Sponsor for the JLCIMT on the House side for this bill.

The list of advisory committee referrals for House and Senate Bills for the 2016 Legislative Session, along with links to view each LC Draft online, are now available: https://www.oregonlegislature.gov/Pages/legislativeConcepts.aspx

LC drafts posted today are to provide information until Legislative Counsel completes the process of printing bills next week, at which time all bills will be available on OLIS.

Please send me a quick email confirmation that you will be able to provide some brief public testimony on HB4056 (LC 121) at the February 5, 2016 JLCIMT meeting (3:00-4:30 in HR F).
