I haven't heard from very many of you in terms of the van pool. I'm making another push to get people to attend GIS in Action. The van will take you up and back each day, so travel isn't really an issue. You'll have to register for the conference, of course. Please consider participating in this important event. There's great value for you and your agency or organization.

Subject: GIS in Action conference van pool

I will be reserving a van for transportation to the GIS in Action conference April 17 and 18. If you want to ride, please let me know as soon as possible so I know how big a van to reserve. We'll go up and back each day at a time that suits the riders. We'll likely meet at the State Motor Pool. There's ample free parking there for your own vehicle.

I strongly encourage all GIS staff in state agencies to participate in this conference. It's a great educational and career development opportunity and it's our state GIS conference. The geospatial community needs your participation in this conference.
