[FIT] FW: McKenzie River 2021 Project - Holiday Fire Lidar and Imagery

LCOG and EWEB are working with DOGAMI to acquire 6 inch ortho-imagery over portions of the McKenzie River watershed and eastern section of Eugene/Springfield.

LCOG and EWEB are also working with DOGAMI on a Quality Level 1 3DEP lidar collection over the McKenzie River watershed and portions of Eugene/Springfield. DOGAMI is planning on submitting a BAA application to USGS 3DEP on November 13th 2020, requesting federal funding to help support a lidar collection - https://www.usgs.gov/core-science-systems/ngp/3dep/fy2021-usgs-broad-agency-announcement-baa?qt-science_support_page_related_con=0#qt-science_support_page_related_con.

The plan is to acquire the lidar and imagery during the Spring/Summer of 2021.  The current GIS shapefiles for both collection projects are attached. The imagery and lidar collection project covers areas impacted by the 2020 Holiday Fire.

LCOG, EWEB, and DOGAMI are soliciting funding partners for the planned remote sensing projects.
