<p class="MsoNormal">Microsoft recently published the results of their building footprint extraction from aerial imagery using deep neural network methodologies. The results appear to be very comprehensive in areas not obstructed by canopy cover. In Oregon,
they created 1,781,820 building footprints using this technique and made it available for download as a
<a href="https://opensource.org/licenses/MIT">MIT licensed</a> dataset:<o:p></o:p></p>
