Hello Floodplain staff,
Please see the following announcements on new FEMA and ASFPM resources, the Annual NORFMA conference, and future Floodplain Training Opportunities.
New FEMA Mailbox for Issues Using the New Elevation Certificate Form
As you are likely aware, FEMA released the updated Elevation Certificate form<https://www.fema.gov/flood-insurance/find-form/underwriting> on July 7, 2023. Since then, multiple users have reported issues with downloading and using the new form. FEMA is working on a solution to these issues, but in the interim has provided the attached Troubleshooting document to assist with downloading the Elevation Certificate. If you have questions or concerns using the Elevation Certificate, or are still unable to access it, please email nfipunderwritingmailbox at fema.dhs.gov<mailto:nfipunderwritingmailbox at fema.dhs.gov> for assistance. Users have reported issues such as an inability to enter "N/A", character limitations, and an inability to edit Section G once digitally signed.
