About the Forum
The Framework Forum is back on track following the COVID pause. We meet every 6 months to learn about and advance geospatial data sharing, the creation and update of statewide, authoritative datasets, and to review proposed data standards, data layers, and stewardship plans. All are welcome to attend and participate in the Framework Program. Registration is free and lunch is provided for all attendees.

The Oregon Geographic Information Council (OGIC) oversees and supports the Framework Program and provides the funding for the Forums as authorized by ORS 276A.512. OGIC is required to "Provide a statewide forum for discussing and resolving issues related to geographic information management" (ORS 276A.506 (2)(a)(A)) and the bi-annual Framework Forums are intended to foster open dialogue about geospatial data management and challenges of the GIS community at-large.
