Through the Oregon Framework Program, GIS staff and users across all levels of government collaborate to assemble and share important statewide GIS datasets, called Framework data. By working collaboratively, the Framework community increases efficiency, reduces costs, and improves access to geospatial data for everyone.



The Framework program is divided up into 16 themes according to subject matter.

Land Use/Land Cover

Preparedness

Utilities



Each theme has a Framework Implementation Team (FIT).  FIT's develop standards that are shared openly and maintained through a voluntary, collaborative, community-based effort participated in by local, regional, and state level agencies within Oregon.  The FIT's goal is to advance GIS data development, standards, and stewardship throughout their respective theme.



The Cadastral FIT has recently started a new listserv to communicate activities with the Cadastral (tax lot) theme. If you're interested in participating in future meeting or keeping up with changes being made, please sign up for the listserv linked below.
