Hi all.

I'm forwarding a survey from NASA to the GIS Community regarding your use of their earth observation data.  See the message and link below.  If you have a minute and have used their data, please consider completing the survey.

As you may be aware, NASA collects data from space on the Earth, including environmental conditions related to air, water (inland and ocean), and land. We have a unique opportunity to learn more about how NASA Earth observation (EO) data is used and we hope you can help provide input.
As mandated by the CHIPS and Science Act of 2022<https://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req=granuleid:USC-prelim-title51-section60501&num=0&edition=prelim>, NASA is conducting a survey of the use of NASA EO data by U.S. States, Tribal organizations, and territories. An online, anonymous survey is available now that seeks to understand:

  1.  who uses EO data within States, Tribal organizations, and territories
  2.  for what purposes
  3.  how these data impact decision making today
  4.  any discoverability, accessibility, or usability issues with these data, and
  5.  any existing challenges or gaps

With this survey, NASA seeks to gain insight into our impact, possible gaps and areas for growth, and how users from these sectors could be better supported in their use of EO data for decision-making. Information from the survey will be summarized and shared widely, as well as inform future NASA activities and priorities.
