*POSITION SUMMARY*

   - DIVISION: Government Services
   - SUPERVISOR: Program Manager
   - UNION REPRESENTATION: EA
   - POSITION PURPOSE*: *The position provides technical support and
   customer service for the Regional Land Information Database (RLID) web
   portal (www.rlid.org), while assisting in the design and development of
   the RLID web portal in a low-code platform. The GIS Applications Support
   Associate works with the RLID Team by assisting with user needs assessment,
   designing reports, and implementing reports. In addition, this position
   provides GIS and data analysis skills to the LCOG region as needed.
   - This position plays a key role in utilizing the OutSystems no-code web
   development platform to contribute to the design and development of an
   updated version of RLID (www.rlid.org), a prominent land information
   research and reporting tool akin to Zillow. This multifaceted position
   involves providing essential support and training to the RLID user
   community, crafting comprehensive training materials including videos,
   designing and producing reports, and conducting data research and analysis
   utilizing tools such as Esri GIS tools and T-SQL within Microsoft SQL
   Server. Additionally, this position collaborates closely with the RLID Team
   and LCOG GIS Staff on various GIS, database, and data development projects.
   - We are seeking an enthusiastic and team-oriented individual who is
   passionate about enhancing RLID's functionality and user experience. This
   role presents opportunities for professional growth, allowing the candidate
   to cultivate skills in T-SQL, application design and development, GIS, and

*QUALIFICATIONS*

Minimum

   - Bachelors' degree in an area of study that provides GIS-related
   education, such as Geography, Planning, Computer Science, Data Science,
   Geospatial Science, or other related field.
   - Three years of progressively responsible experience in data management.
   - Or any combination of education and experience that would provide the
   applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to
   perform the job.
   - Proficiency working with spreadsheets and database reporting tools.
   - Strong technical writing, training, and presenting skills.

Preferred

   - Experience and familiarity with real estate and land use planning
   processes and terminology.
   - Skills in using Adobe design tools.
   - Experience using SurveyMonkey or similar experience management
   platforms.
