I spent well over a year analyzing a dangerous Learjet flight over downtown
Salem.  I created a video reconstruction of the flight in Google Earth. I
could not possibly have done this without PostGIS.

Those of you who work in downtown Salem might appreciate knowing that
someone thought it sport to buzz the capitol.  I calculated that the jet
came within 100' of two buildings.
