The Department of Land Conservation and Development wants to make available to all agencies interested, the new UGB shapefile layer that has been updated for 2009.<BR>

The Oregon Geographic Information Council, Framework Implementation Team, delegated to DLCD the update and stewardship of the urban growth boundary (UGB) coverage for the state. This responsibility was given in September 2008, and since that time we have obtained and digitizing UGB data. Efforts were coordinated with county and city officials to eliminate discrepancies; errors were corrected, data accuracy was increased and the location of all acknowledged UGB amendments has been precisely recorded. The new data set for 2009 is available for download on the GEO Spatial Data Library.<BR>
