<p class=MsoNormal><b>Job Opening: GIS Technician<o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive
GIS experience including developing and updating of maps, drawings and reports
in an ESRI GIS environment. Experience with performing spatial analysis is
essential, including developing reports and spreadsheets as well as
interpretation of plans, maps, data files, photographs, and legal descriptions.
The successful candidate will also have a working knowledge of ESRI GIS
platform and products, including ESRI ArcEditor, ArcView, and ArcGIS Server and
experience with geodatabase editing practices and data quality control
procedures. Experience in mapping of linear assets and experience in developing
and implementing GIS applications are highly desirable.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>We are looking for someone who will be a key District-wide
resource within our newly established GIS program, take on unique challenges,
and work closely with our GIS Database Administrator. TVWD is a stable
environment with a good team and opportunities for technical challenges.<o:p></o:p></p>
