the USGS Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) for 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) in
FY17. </span><span style="color:rgb(68,68,68);background-image:initial;background-repeat:initial">In FY16, Federal agencies contributed over
$11.5M to provide matching funds in support of lidar acquisition projects
submitted to the BAA. We anticipate similar levels of activity in FY17.</span><span style="color:rgb(51,51,51)"> The FY17 BAA is expected to be released through
<a href="http://grants.gov" target="_blank">grants.gov</a> and FedBizOpps (<a href="http://www.fbo.gov" target="_blank">www.fbo.gov</a>) in July 2016. Public webinars to share details and answer questions on the FY17 release are scheduled for August 9<sup>th</sup>
and 10<sup>th</sup>; details on these and other coordination and outreach
opportunities will be posted on <a href="http://nationalmap.gov/3DEP/" target="_blank">http://nationalmap.gov/3DEP/</a>.</span></p>
