[gpl_list] GPL Charter Revision Vote

At the GPL meeting on Tuesday I described OGIC's response to our proposed GPL Charter revision. OGIC approved the charter subject to two other minor changes for clarification purposes as a result of our changes. Yes that is confusing!

These additional changes should clarify that the GPL Chair is the arbitrator if consensus cannot be reached on 1) decisions 2) creation of sub-committees. Attached is the GPL Charter with the OGIC suggested changes in blue text. 

Due to the limited attendance at this month's meeting I am calling for an email vote to approve or reject OGIC's recommendations. If your vote is for rejection please give me a brief explanation.

Send me your vote by 5pm next Tuesday (5/21/09).
