GPL Users,

South Coast and Camp Creek deliveries are now posted.  Please read notes
below to catch up on developments yesterday.
I have increased the amount of connections the server is allowing so
more people should be connecting without problems.

The data will be posted at least until February 24th.

GPL Users,

A few notes on the FTP server and the recent postings.

1. I've received a number of emails regarding being prompted for a
user/pass login.
This public site should require no login. 

Apparently Internet Explorer is behaving differently for different
users.  I can connect via IE or Firefox without any login prompt.  FTP
via a web browser is not recommended.

I would recommend the following software to make the connection.  

http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client

2. Also, please note that there is a huge amount of traffic on the
server, since this is the first time it has been announced as open to
the public.  You may need to wait to make the connection.  I assume this
will taper off as those who want the LiDAR data finish downloading.

3. Willamette Valley Delivery 10 was not correct.  I have removed it.
It was a copy of delivery 1.  I will get that data from DOGAMI and make
it available as soon as we can get it.

Willamette Valley LiDAR data available from DOGAMI, is posted to the GEO
FTP Server here:

ftp://159.121.106.159/elevation/lidar/WillametteValley_LiDAR/

The posting will be available for 2 weeks.  It includes 17 deliveries,
with detailed data reports, Shapefiles of delivery areas, GRIDs of first
return (highest hit), last return (bare earth) and Imagine LiDAR
intensity images.

Postings of the Camp Creek and South Coast deliveries to follow.
