All,

We have identified, and ESRI has acknowledged, a bug in ArcGIS 10. We have asked them for a rapid reply on a time frame to resolving this bug.
We do not have a response from them yet as to how and when this will be fixed. We will inform everyone as soon as we have an answer.

===========
BUG:

When the new 2009 ½ meter imagery is added into ArcMap 10, the Oregon Lambert projection is not read correctly, and the image placement is off by >1000 miles (somewhere in Minnesota).

PROCESS WORK-AROUND:

With a blank ArcGIS 10 project:

1.	Add 2009 Image into project. Note, Spatial Reference for imagery will be incorrectly registered as: NAD_1983_HARN_Oregon_Statewide_Lambert, Linear Unit: Meter, instead of the correct NAD_1983_Oregon_Statewide_Lambert_Feet_Intl, Linear Unit: Foot.
2.	Go to Data Frame Properties (View > Data Frame Properties). Under the coordinate system tab, click on 'Clear' to clear the coordinate system.
3.	You can now add other data in ORLAM and it will align correctly with the 2009 imagery. Note: If you try to set the Coordinate system to something else (e.g., ORLAM), the extent of the 2009 image will again shift approximately 1500 mi NE.

Please note the work around above is the best we could come up with in a short time frame. If you have a better one, please let us know.

Thanks,
