During last month’s GPL meeting, we talked about the GIS functionality in Data.Oregon.gov (Socrata platform).  I mentioned some features that they would be releasing soon as part of their ‘Atlas module’, including uploading shapefiles, KML files, etc. If you’d like to see a demo of this, there’s a video from a recent Socrata webinar available online:
