[gpl_list] GPL agenda for Dec. 11th

GPL is a forum for all public agencies in Oregon to coordinate development of GIS and to provide OGIC with technical advice.  

This agenda does center on State Agency's use of ArcGIS Online.

I wish to invite other public agencies that have used ArcGIS online to join use and share your experiences.

This is my last GPL meeting as Chair.  I will be doing the GPL report at OGIC.  

Then I will hand over the controls to Rachel Smith.

The main topic of this meeting is to start dealing with the question that was raised at the November GPL meeting dealing with ArcGIS online. 
Best practices - what has work for other agencies or other States?

Guidance – 
Roles:

Administrator – Define duties, who, one or many

Publishers – Define duties, who, how many per agencies 
Users -?? Everyone in the State or are these only those who would be editing and doing creating new maps from the data already there?

Groups How do we want to handle these, by agency, by project, or what?  If an agency has created a group does those folks need to be added to the GEO group.
How do we find data that is available from other agencies are serving out to the public?

Fine tuning basemap drop down list, who does this, how do we add ones, delete themAre we overloading Erik, since he is the one and only Administrator at this time?
