Please run an iLinc system test on the computer you’ll be using to participate in next weeks GPL. Here’s where you begin:
- Go to https://oregonconnect.ilinc.com
- Click on the “System Test” link in the dark blue title bar
After several steps you should end up in an iLinc session that announces “Test Successful”.
If that doesn’t happen or you have any questions please shoot me an email (that’s “shoot me an email”, not “shoot me” ☺) and we’ll do what we can to take care of the issue.
Thanks,
---- Milt

1. This was discussed in July but need to finalize what we want to take to OGIC
We need gis.oregon.gov<http://gis.oregon.gov> to stay
Embedded in xx documents
Need a functional website
July’s topic:
Discussion about changing the URL’s for GEO -
The new bureaucratic organization requires a change. We should advocate a functional website organization for GEO rather than organizational.
2. Reorganizing & moving of GEO – Milt
3. Standard service from forum – dig into vetting the services - Erik
3. New Chairperson for GPL (this is not a job for GEO) – Diana
4. Carpooling to URISA’s 50th GIS-Pro Conference any interest
5. ilinc – good/bad/ugly. Is this all call in meeting working?
Question for all where to we share what projects we are working on outside of or instead of GPL?
Topics for October meeting (since chairperson dropped the ball on this)
Web-base geospatial projects – want secure and only for GPL – Erik to look into this
Oregon Explorer Map View - Mark
Topics/Updates from past GPL meetings:
1. Data Sharing is in a holding pattern for a few months, starting May 2012
2. Data Management Procedures – no progress on document David Mather lead and it has been taken off his plate (May 2012)
