[gpl_list] GPL: Cancelled Carpool / Meeting Update

Hi everyone.  

 

We are strategically preparing for winter weather driving conditions
that may impact safe driving to the GPL meeting tomorrow.   At this
time, we are cancelling the car pool from Salem to Portland.  As always,
the iLinc option to call-in will be available.  Sim and I will make a
final decision in the morning as to whether we want to make it an "all
call-in" which would include anyone driving locally in the Portland
area.  I plan to take transit to the Port of Portland office.

 

If you're in Portland and want to take transit, here are directions:

Red line goes all the way to the terminal, you can then take the North
Tunnel (the furthest tunnel from the Max station inside the terminal
building) marked Port Offices all the way to the elevator, go up 1 floor
to the 1st floor lobby where the Anchor room is.

OK,

The forecast for the Portland area for tomorrow is not getting any
better so I am going to cancel the carpool from Salem.  I did reserve a
conference room here at DAS for those who would like to come over and
huddle around a speaker phone instead of calling in from your own desks
- it's an option for you.  I apologize for the inconvenience.

Better safe than sorry.
