Oops, If forgot to copy in the brief description of the Launch Kit...
The scope covers a broad range of best practices for participants who will be working with ArcGIS Online. These workshops are very hands on, and participants will be expected to bring their spatial information with them. They will publish services, web maps, and apps by the end of the three days. They'll also have a chance to implement workflows with some of the many apps connected to ArcGIS Online, including Esri Maps for Office, Collector for ArcGIS, and Story Maps to name a few. The group will get to decide collectively which apps they focus on once some of the publishing workflows are covered. The instructor will be on-site to conduct this workshop.

Subject: ArcGIS Online Launch Kit workshop
Hi folks, sorry I couldn't make the meeting yesterday, but I need to ask if any of you might be interested in participating in an ArcGIS Online Launch Kit workshop in the next month or so. The Launch Kit is designed to help us get started using ArcGIS Online more effectively. Below is a brief description of the Launch Kit, and I've attached a more detailed description.
If we can get 5 or 6 agencies helping to fund this, the cost would be $1500-1800 for each agency. If more are interested, the cost would be less. Please let me know as soon as you can if this might be something you're interested in doing. I'd like to expand our use of AGOL significantly in the next few months. It has the potential to save us all a lot of money, in addition to expanding the use of GIS and geospatial data throughout state government.
This would be something we'd handle as a training expense, as we've handled those expenses in the past, where we will send you a training invoice after the class based on an agreed upon amount for your agency.
