Tue May 2 14:44:30 PDT 2017

For those attending tomorrow's workshops at the Portland State Office Building - 800 NE Oregon St, Portland, OR 97232
It is being held in PSOB room 1E. There are a number of parking options in the vicinity.

There is street metered parking. Also there are two parking garages in the area. One west of the building right across the street. The other is one block north and west of the building. Please allow extra time for parking. You may also luck out and find a parking space on the external parking lot that is attached to our building.

Vehicles with State tags don't have to pay to park on the street in Portland. They will have to pay to park in the external parking lot attached to PSOB.

Best,
Phil Smith

ArcGIS Enterprise 10.5: The What, Why and How :
Target Audience: GIS Managers and ArcGIS Server Administrators
The ArcGIS Enterprise (formerly ArcGIS for Server) discussion is geared toward people who are familiar with ArcGIS Server, but want to understand where Esri is headed with ArcGIS Enterprise and "WebGIS."
ArcGIS Enterprise includes several software components that are designed to work together. A foundational setup of ArcGIS Enterprise consists of a number of these components configured in a certain way; this is called a base ArcGIS Enterprise deployment. These components include ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Data Store and the ArcGIS Web Adaptor. Come to this session to learn about these components and why they are important going forward with your deployment.

Afternoon Workshop: Survey 1-2-3 and Creating Mobile Strategies
Survey123 Hands-On Workshop:
Target Audience: Anyone interested in collecting data using smart forms on a smartphone or tablet
Field Data Collection workshop with Smart Forms and Survey123 for ArcGIS
Survey123 for ArcGIS is a simple and intuitive form-centric data gathering solution for creating, sharing and analyzing surveys in ArcGIS. You will not need any previous practical knowledge about Survey123 before you join this event, but we suggest you watch the Survey123 product overview (2 minutes) and Survey123 technical overview (3 minutes) videos.

In this workshop you will learn:
1. How to create and publish ArcGIS smart forms with skip logic, defaults, input validation rules, and much more.
2. How to boost the productivity of field users with smart forms and the Survey123 mobile application to support asset inspections, field assessments, code enforcement, etc.
3. How to quickly analyze data captured in the field using maps and spatial analysis.
This workshop will be interactive, including practical exercises and demonstrations. Most of the workshop will be spent creating a smart form from your existing paper form(s).

What to bring with you:
* A computer running Windows, Mac or Linux, with Microsoft Excel and Survey123 Connect installed. You can download Survey123 Connect from https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/download/
* A smartphone or tablet loaded with the Survey123 for ArcGIS mobile application installed. You can download Survey123 for ArcGIS from the iTunes, Google Play, Amazon and Windows app stores.
* A login to an ArcGIS Online organizational account with Publisher rights.
* One or more paper forms/survey that you will use to create a digital smart form using Survey123.

Send RSVP:
Due to the interactive nature of these ESRI workshops we ask that participation is limited to one or two persons per agency.
Since attendance will be limited, please register with an RSVP to GPL Chair: Philip.L.Smith at odot.state.or.us<mailto:Philip.L.Smith at odot.state.or.us>

Thank you,
Phil
