The National States Geographic Information Council just released its objective evaluation of the state GIS coordination programs for every state (see link below).  You and many others have played a role in the success of state GIS coordination in Oregon.  We received more of the highest possible grades than any other state in the various graded categories.  I wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks to all of you for the work you’ve done to make the program successful.  The collaborative work you’ve done together has dramatically improved the way government works in Oregon and made the lives of Oregonians better in the process.
