[gpl_list] ODOT seeking advice on shared experiences in moving to ArcGIS Pro

The Oregon Department of Transportation is developing a migration strategy from our current deployment of ArcGIS Desktop to ArcGIS Pro. We are interested in lessons learned from the ArcGIS Pro migration effort of other agencies and partner organizations.


*         Has your organization moved completely or partially from ArcGIS Desktop to ArcGIS Pro?

*         Were there specific advantages for you in choosing a full migration or a hybridized platform approach?

*         What challenges have you faced in completing the migration?

*         Has training and transition been a smooth process across your organization?


Any additional advice for an organization about to shift from our current established ArcGIS Desktop workflows used by a large and diverse pool of GIS users would be greatly appreciated.
