Subject: OR URISA | GIS in Action - Workshop: Change Management- Built it, and will they come?

Hi! I wanted to share some details about a workshop being facilitated at OR URISA's "GIS in Action" this year: "Change Management- Build it, and Will they come?". This is a popular topic at Esri's UC. DevSummit, and CIO Summit. I anticipate this will also be the case at GIS In Action! The workshop is being facilitated Thursday, May 2nd from 9:00 - 12:00 by our Adoption Strategy Consultant, Michael Green.

This workshop is great for leaders/executives, GIS Managers, influencers of change, and anyone who is interested in how they can help accelerate technology adoption.

During this consulting workshop, you will address how change is impacting not only technology but also the people in your organization. Come prepared to participate in this workshop with a change that is impacting your organization right now or in the near future. This hands-on workshop will address:

  * Make the geospatial connection between strategic vision and the objectives of your organization
  * Work through barriers or resistance to change
  * Understand the value of mapping your sponsor network
  * Leverage the communication components that will relate across the executive, manager, and employee level
You can expect lots of discussion during this workshop, be ready to participate!

I definitely don't have the full list of attendees for GIS in Action, so if you know a colleague who is attending and would benefit from this workshop please feel free to share!

You can add this workshop to your schedule by clicking here: Change Management - Build it, and Will they come? <https://gisinaction2024.sched.com/event/1bg5o/change-management-build-it-and-will-they-come-esri-led-all-day-workshop?iframe=no&w=100%25&sidebar=yes&bg=no>

We hope to see you there!
Warm regards,
Tabetha
