[gpl_list] GIO Resignation / Last Day January 22nd

Hello GPL members and Esri EA Contacts.

Beginning January 1st, Enterprise Information Services and the Data Governance and Transparency Program shifted to a hybrid work model and the GIO position is expected to work at the Salem EIS office on a weekly basis.  Since I moved out of the state and relocated across the country in 2022, I do not plan to move back to Oregon.  Therefore, my time as Oregon's Geographic Information Officer is ending. My last day working as the GIO is Wednesday, January 22nd.

Here is a list of points of contacts for your future reference:

  *   Kathryn Helms, the Chief Data Officer, will be serving as the interim GIO.
  *   Melissa Foltz will be the primary contact for OGIC-related tasks/administration.
  *   The Esri EA contacts are as follows:
     *   Agency IAA's, invoicing, purchasing, and EEAP program questions should be sent to Melissa Foltz and David Mather.
     *   All other Esri-related questions (daily operations, licensing, AGOL questions, training, conferences, etc.) should be sent to the GEO helpdesk inbox at  gis.info at das.oregon.gov<mailto:gis.info at das.oregon.gov>.

I have truly enjoyed being the GIO for Oregon and working with you all on a regular basis - -  some of you I've known and worked with for almost 15 years! This is a job that I wanted for a long time and I am sad to be leaving it. My time in Oregon has been filled with lots of ups and downs as life would have it. I've learned a lot over the years and value the Oregon GIS community.  We have a close community that works together to solve spatial problems and support each other. Keep up the great work!!  You will be missed!!
