Good morning Emergency Management GIS Group members, PrepFIT members, and GIS Program Leaders,

I would like to today's GIS day and do a quick shout out to all of you that we coordinate with on a regular basis to keep our communities safe and resilient in times of crisis.

Your work is important to our mission as an agency and helps those individuals that we serve. We've had a wide variety of incidents over the last few years, ranging from fires to flooding to winter storms to non-traditional incidents, such as homelessness and hunger emergencies. Your work is valuable in providing us important information in times of need.
